Received my light today and keen to take it for a dive. Just need to rig it for Sidemount. I made a small 'mod' to the batteries to stop them banging around in the canister and to aid in pulling them out as I don't want to damage the electrical connector. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Hey Ken, Do you rekon the hog SM rig may not fit so well for a shorter diver due to the fixed length? Is there a way to make modifications to the rig to suit divers? Does it have a in built weight/trim system? Cheers Mike

I clip my backup light (cordless) off on my compass bungee so if i did have to drop it, I wouldn't lose it!!!

Chris, I dived Julian on Saturday with Bluebaydivers and I'm diving the Brisbane this Saturday with Sunreef. Julian was great wasn't it! Nice to see the mantas are still hanging around. We did hugo's trench and it was spectacular .

Excellent thanks whitesands. I'm thinking about getting one of those but cutting off the 'failsafe'. If i ditch my bcd I'd like to keep my smb. Good idea to have a removable pocket you could use on any wetsuit/shorts instead of permanently gluing them on.

Not carrying a snorkel has nothing to do with how 'experienced' if a diver you are. Purely personal preference. Plus for some people it can make their mask leak slightly especially with stronger currents and a big bulky snorkel.

I don't know I'm not a fish ;) maybe they can tell by the noise and lack of bubbles? I know when I scuba dive, snapper will swim right past me but when i'm free diving they won't come anywhere near me.

But fish identify a scuba diver with an underwater tourist not a hunter! :) kinda takes the fun out of the hunt.
