Their boat was always packed when it went out. It doesn't matter that they don't mention it. They are affiliated with them and charge divers $300 to dive in the Dolphin prison. I will never give one cent to any company that has anything to do with that cruel disgusting industry.
Me and my non diving wife stayed at Sunscape Curacao last Oct. yes the resort is a little older but most of the rooms have been renovated, our A/C wasn't the greatest but it worked, most of the staff were good, only the Blue water grill had bad service, our room was cleaned everyday, the ladies...
I highly recommend Cenote Xperience (yes they do ocean dives) I have been diving with Nico since 2011. He has a small family run dive shop in Playa.

i would also take a look at the Ratio iX3m 2 Pro, Ratio has the biggest screen on the market. It's a 3 gas computer (Nitrox, Air and Gauge) and has a rechargeable battery. If any tech diving is in the future, you just have to buy the upgraded software instead of a whole new computer.
Ratio iX3M...
I would also take a look at the Dive Rite Hydro Lite. It's more streamlined and I'm not a fan of BCD's with only one tank strap.

You should look at the Sub Gravity BP/W system. You get a choice of 3 stainless steel & 2 aluminum backplates, 4 wing sizes, 2 harness styles and 3 weight pocket sizes. Their wings don't require a STA.
In addition to the standard SS 3mm backplate, they have a 6mm SS backplate that weighs 10.1...
I would look at a Sub Gravity BP/W. I have their aluminum BP, 26 lb wing, and adjustable harness.
Their adjustable harness is clean, simple and no plastic parts. I love mine.

East Cape Explorers is in San Jose Del Cabo. It is the sister shop to Dive Cabo.
I haven't used them yet, so don't know much a bout them but they get good reviews.

I would look at the Dive Rite Hydro Lite. Dive Rite has been in business for a very long time, they make good quality gear and have a huge world wide dealer network.

I would go with the Dive Rite Hydro lite, it looks a lot less bulky than the Hog and Dive Rite have been around forever, make quality gear and have a big dealer network. The only thing I might do is change the bottom velcro tank strap for a proper one.
I was looking at the Dive Rite as a travel...
I have a Sub Gravity 3mm backplate, 26 lb wing, adjustable harness and drop down small weight pockets for my travel BP/W. I can't say enough good things about the gear or the company. I really love their adjustable harness.
My first pair of fins were Tusa open heel fins and the blades went soft.
Mares Avanti Quattro + fins, they are the best all around fins and have been around for a long time with no gimmicks, just a straight forward good fin. I have been diving mine for about 20 years.
