    Tropical Depression 2

For a 30 mile gas pipeline in a South Louisiana swamp, perhaps. But within a transportation ROW or a residential development you're not going to get a "multiple choice" easement.

    Tropical Depression 2

Of course. And, anything is possible, I suppose. But I've been doing this more than 20 years, and never been that lucky. The state usually isn't involved in the language of the easements, it's just between the UAO and property owner. I could write book about potential easement fatal flaws, but...

    Tropical Depression 2

Overhead and underground easements aren't interchangeable. I do permitting for transportation and energy sectors.

Which would require easements/agreements for each parcel. An insurmountable task.

Bauer Junior II off of 2x Honda EU2200i?

Guess I'm an odd ball. Either I need 2kw for small stuff or I need 220. If I was hauling around a 5th wheel trailer, I would definitely try to figure out a more practical generator solution :)

Bauer Junior II off of 2x Honda EU2200i?

I never really understood the allure of this "feature". You now have doubled your generator maintenance. Probably not that bad with the Hondas, but those Chinese predator engines in the clones are horrible. I definitely wouldn't want to try to maintain two generators stored on a boat. Plus...

    Tropical Depression 2

Restoration time also depends on your grid location. My house is not rural, but it is the end of an overhead that feeds only 3 houses. Ian took nearly 2 weeks. The repair workers were only there for an hour, but the focus is on getting bigger chunks of outage done first.

Question Do you bring tools with you on dives?

I've used it many times. Even if you're not under water, you don't have to take crap off and walk back to the truck if this is in your pocket.

    Any amateur radio people here?

N4GI Primarily HF CW contesting. I had a decent sized multi op station at one point, but now I'm just a guest op.

Well. It's not a blog. It's an interview with the former FL director of emergency management. Clearly neither reading comprehension nor media literacy are your strong suit.

How does me turning my VPN off compromise my security? Is that a real question or gaslighting?

So then I have to compromise my security for yours. That doesn't sound optimal.

    Blacktip tech 20ah batteries

Only 2 dives, I didn't do any burn testing. I never maxed out the cheap Chinese batteries I was using before it anyway. The battery life indicator is still there, and I presume it still does what it's supposed to do. It did not decrease from full charge in either of the 2 dives (1-2 hrs) I used...
