We've been to Cobalt Coast 2X in the past year. Easy to get to, affordable accommodations and decent AI meals. Nice property. Varied diving with a really nice house reef. I preferred the (free) shore diving option to the pricey afternoon boat trips. ps: I'm kinda burned out on Coz as well.

Not really. You have to claim your bags to clear customs and then take them to the "RECHECK" area where they are placed back into the baggage system. Just don't recheck them. Right?

I forgot to add that, if asked, George will FOG THE BEJEEZUS out of the property's common areas -- which he happily did most evenings. That kept the little critters pretty much at bay -- until the next day, at least. Whoever comes up with a vaccine to immunize from the effects of their bites...

Google Maps Kozumel Fried Chicken. Son and I tried it back in September. Not much atmosphere, but we got it as Take-Away. You can get it prepared in other styles besides fried. Sides are included. $5 will get you more food that you can imagine.
