Do you use the chest strap? I find my Con II is much better with the chest buckle closed.

    Quick deploy mounting?

I have laced mine on through the grommets with 3/8 inch bungee cord. I was always getting poked by the cut off ends of the zap straps. (Canadian for zip ties).

    HELP! Sherwood or Tusa?

I have used both, like them both equally. The Sherwood is a little more rugged. The TUSA is a classic design that has been used with modifications for many years. Get whichever you like and take care of it. As noted above anyone saying they would never let anyone dive with a TUSA is doing...

    Exceeding Regulator depth rating

It’s a liability issue they have to pick a number, I think it is done out of a hat ;) I have had ancient regs below 300ft, they were well care for though.

    What is this?

As pointed out above it was the early 90s that many divers and drysuit divers in particular started to use BCs. I still have a hollow plastic backplate loaded with lead shot so I needed less weight on my belt. As a drysuit diver I use it for added buoyancy as I need to add a bit of air at depth...

    Miflex hose switch-over...

I have been diving Miflex hoses locally and when I travel, Red Sea and Indonesia this year and can say they are a pleasure to use. The flexibility alone makes them more comfortable and easier to use. Before I replaced the hoses for 2 sets of regs including BC and dry suit hoses I looked for as...

Is zeagle concept 2 a travel BCD?

I use my Concept 2 with a smaller Escape bladder when I travel, it is smaller that way yet has the ripcord system and better harness than the escape.

    Good on-line dealers in Canada?

Have it shipped US Postal Service Ground and Canada Post recieves it and charges tax, no duty or fees. It take 5-7 days from almost anywhere in the US. UPS and other couriers tend to always tack on more fees. Aslo US made products have no duties coming into Canada. Try Scubatoys they are very...

Good way to mount a quick deploy sausage/reel

Instead of zip ties I used 3/8 inch bungie to tie mine onto my Concept II, the pull loop is right where my hand falls to when dropped back there.

Any Known Failures with Miflex hoses?

They are new to diving but have been used for gaslines for soldering torches for many years, they have a very good rep for ease of use and long life. The fittings would be the only failure point. I love mine they are so flexible the reg feels no constraints at all.

    Making My Fiancée Happy

If she liked the micra, I did for many years (all gone now ) and she doesn’t like the bubbles she should try the side exhaust Aqualung Kronos. It is a premium reg from Aqualung. She will get use to the bubbles using a conventional reg. I only know one Poseidon side exhaust user...

What is the best way to store your regs?

I store mine laying flat on top of my BCD in a plastic storage box, after they are hung to dry.

    Aqualung Legend Parts Backorder???

    Miflex braided hoses?

Got my first set last year, love them now all 3 reg sets I own have them on all the hoses (particularly good as a dry suit hose, routing and flex are not an issue anymore) . They are very flexible, I don't understand the negative comments about them, I tried to understand but don’t. In 30+...
