    Hello From Central FL✌️

Ethan made his first dive after certification in Catfish Hole at Manatee Springs State Park. We had fun chasing them baby cats all over the place. He had to dig through some duckweed, first! It took a grandnephew in need of certification to drag me back from retirement. He was only 3-4...

    DIN vs YOKE (USA)?

I've seen tanks fall over with both yoke and DIN. Neither first stage survived unscathed. However, the knob on the yoke is a definite entanglement hazard. I was co-teaching a class in the Keys, and my co-instructor used yoke. We were on the Speigle and a single line snagged that knob. He was...

    nitrox downsides

Consider extending your safety stop to at least 5 minutes, and even a bit longer if your air supply allows. Fatigue is a common symptom of preclinical (mild) DCS.

    Best Reg for Cave diving

Dayum! D6 regs don't take near that long to rebuild!!! ;D ;D ;D There's little difference between modern day regs, in my opinion. D6 are more economical, incredibly easy to rebuild, and the second stage needs no tools to take the purge cover off. I've gotten stuff stuck in my exhaust valves...
