The yoke and DIN are ways to mechanically attach the regulator to the tank valve, it makes no difference in how a regulator breathes. This was definitely something else.

The crushed neoprene will be heavier than a trilam, but I would not discount it without trying one. There are some heavier than others. My wife's BARE XCS2 is no heavier than a 7mm wetsuit and very comfortable. It is stretchy so it does not need to be baggy at all.

too bad it is too big for me. Where in Florida? You could be surprised how useful a drysuit can be here. Caves/Caverns 68-72 degrees year round. Winter diving to see the lemon sharks in Jupiter, and the gulfstream is 62-68, etc
