I don’t know much about the mini-displays. I was only aware of the one as depicted in the manual and wasnt’t even aware that one could be customized. I was just fooling around with it and noticed the prompt that it was changeable, then figured out you could have two. I may have to try the OC...
I did update the firmware. It is a great update. There are dozens of combinations. Previously I just had T1 (R) pressure and GTR (C). Just for fun I made two mini-displays, one like yours and another consisting of T1-SAC-TTS. Probably TMI.
Hey Belzelbub, thanks tor the offer of the photo. I figured out how to do it, so no need for a photo. From the manual I was under fhe impression there was only the example mini-display. I got my computer out and figured out you can configure that with various combinations. It’s brilliant...
Just
Just fold it all up nicely and bundle it with an elastic band. Ensure the band colour matches nicely with your gear. I chose blue and it coordinates well with my font colours and fins.
Probably the most popular and best are Turtle reef (aka Macabuca), Lighthouse point (aka Dive Tech shop). Also Eden rock, Sunset house and Don Fosters.
I’m frugal, I take the 🚌. Take mesh bag with gear and towels for the seat. A few times I’ve had locals see us poors and offer us a ride into town from LHP or Macabuca.
Eden rock dive centre is great although Macabuca and Lighthouse point seem to get most of the attention. We’ve seen squadrons of squid up close, octopi as well as all you’ve mentioned. It’s a must do dive when I am there.
Grace bay, Providenciales or Seven mile beach area of Grand Cayman. Both have great diving (Providenciales involves a longer day for diver due to boat rides, Grand Cayman you can be back by 11:30). Both have arguably the best beaches in the northern hemisphere if not the world, lots of shopping...
Huaway has been accused of having a role in corporate espionage in bringing down a giant Canuck telecom, Nortel. And with concerns of their 5G security I’ll never buy a Huaway product.
Oh I forgot to mention I use a couple of zip ties (they are black and hard to see) to keep the pouches tucked in close and not moving around on the band. They go through the triglide and around the webbing on the back of the BCD.
