i think it is closer to about 2 hours to monterey from the city IMHO but it is well worth the drive they have plenty to drool on in that shop plus he could sneak in a dive with your hubbies new lens

i take the o-rings out if it is going to be out of the water for more that a day or two i will wash them and grease them and put them in a zip lock bag. i also will clean them and re-grease them almost every time i open the housing or change a port we have a lot of sand in the water here.
thank for the impute i think that i am going to go with manual for a will long and maybe get a 6 pin bulk head an a sea and sea converter at least then i can turn it off if i don't like the results and go to manual.

i was wondering how hard it was to install one of these HeinrichsWeikamp ettl converters in a aquatica housing for a canon 30D. im not so worried about installing new bulk head and so forth but about hooking up the electronic parts correctly. also has any one out there used one of these...
i personally use aquatica housing. i love mine and can not say enough about them they are also reasonably priced as far as aluminum housing if there is such a thing. you can also get an optional ttl converter, if TTL is the deciding factor. they also have a nice assortment of port they just...
one suggestion in use a tripod i have done this several time works well but you might want to get a SCUBA Sherpa to carry it around for you. i modified the feet on the tripod so that each one has a molded weight that ways 2LBS for a total of 6LBS this help hold the rig down this works well with...
i just got one for my dad for X-mass. as far as overall image quality the camera is superb. the colors are great and the images are sharp. it focuses fast and shutter lag is minimal for a P&S. and non when you shoot in manual focus. there are many thing that will impress you about this camera...
nice idea wish i would have done that to mine i went with a draw sting but that look like it would be easer to do and take on and off will have to try that with my macro port
this is a bad idea for several reasons one even though this might feel good it is actually doing more harm than good because the worm water will cause you capillary blood vessels to dilate which will in-turn allow worm blood to circulated closer to the surface and when that cold water comes in...
i have an aquatica housing and love it they are realy well built. the controls are will placed and very smooth. the housing handle well in the water and is close to neutral with the dome port on. the nice thing about these housing is that they are made to last and are resonably price for...
you might try backscatter.com and email them Backscatter Underwater Video & Photo Online Store. the part won't be listed on their web site but they are authorized sea and sea dealers and will likely be able to order the o-ring kit for you they might even have it there in the store because the...
