Dive rite makes a great product, and I have never had bad customer service. The OMS support is terrible, myself and a buddy had some bad experiences with OMS customer support. Deep Sea supply is also a good product.

Maybe something with some texture to the fingers, I have found that the gloves that pull over you rings are very slick and make gearing up more difficult.

If you do buy a fusion, you will want to get one with pockets as that suit isn't designed to add your own. I do not use the Light Monkey pockets but I do use the Halcyon ones and they are similar. I am very happy with them that inner pocket to hold wet notes works nice.

I have had hundreds of great lakes dives and have found that any exposed skin goes numb after a few min. I have seen guys while out ice diving put vasoline on exposed skin to provide some protection
