That yellow valve is a Hazmat valve I tried out for a few dives. I put the Apex back on.

I have been to Coral Beach and to Bay of Pigs and I would place them both on a par with the Jamaican Ocho Rios area for diving. :shakehead: I hear that there is good diving at Jardines Del Rey, but no personal experience there.

You could always bring your Ipad and read a book . I've seen a number of divers using Ipads for underwater cameras;)

My suit came, finally, though it was within the time frame promised by the shop, so I can't complain too much. XCS2 Pro, neo neck, bottle latex wrist seals, cuff rings, hard boots, no pockets. Since it was a custom fit, I had to get the back zip. Apparently the XCS2 is not available in front...

A little late to the party, but I've found my Mares Powerplanas to be the best of all the fins I've tried so far, and I love the rubber straps...better than springs. I just wish they were a tad lighter to help my trim.

I had a similar situation a few years back. Dove the Molokini crater off Maui. Compared to Coz, it was a big yawn. No pretty coral, not many fish, though the ones I did see were quite pretty. From what I could find out before the trip, Hawaii didn't seem like that great a dive location...
