hello all - I Am a Thief and a Scammer

This explains a lot. I got several PM's asking about stuff I had for sale (which I don't) . Now I see why.

Be sure they are stainless steel otherwise you will have a rusted mess on your hands.

    Need Parts Help

The 30 (aka Royal) uses a different design. It uses a HP nozzle assembly like the Royal Aquamaster or DA Aquamaster . The yoke is captured under this assmebly.

    Need Parts Help

We do need photos, you have 3 folks helping you that have seen a bunch of Conshelfs. If you have the older yoke without threads that used item 5 in the last parts break down, you have 2 options. Get a later yoke with threads or use your yoke and get another nut. I am pretty sure I have both...

    Need Parts Help

I have never seen that ring on a Conshelf. I dug through all my manuals and do not see it listed in any parts list. The only thing I have seen and that is listed on any breakdown I have is the couple of different circlips.....and I never put them back on my regs. I can tell you that the thread...

Question Conshelf Supreme Grease instead of Oil?

Being down south, I assume you don't dive cold water so why not just remove the sealing diaphragm and dive it without one....no reason not to. As I understand it, you can also swap off the spring retainer area parts from an earlier Titan and use it's dry seal system instead.

    Dip Tube Variances

Not counting anything, I have a small machine shop and do this kind of thing all the time. I used thread pitch gauges under high magnification to check them, no guess work involved. Double checked with a metric gauge, not metric. Obviously I can't say for sure what the OP has but there is no...

    Dip Tube Variances

I highly doubt it's metric, if it were it would have to be 6.25 mm. The threads exactly match 48 tpi, while I did not check, it's unlikely .75 will match exactly with it.

    Dip Tube Variances

I got a chance to look at an old SP valve dip tube this morning. It does have an odd thread. Measuring, it's diameter and checking the threads with a pitch gauge, I come up with 1/4- 48, had to put it under a good bit of magnification to see the threads. A quick check and found "Drills and...

Any value to an old voit swimmaster?

It does not have much valve, maybe $20-30 on ebay. The MR-12 first is fairly easy to service and the second stage is actually a really nice breathing reg if you replace the diaphragm with a modern one.

    ID of older first stage.

Dang Nem, you are right, the ones I am thinking about are Tusa, not Tekna.
  13. herman

    ID of older first stage.

I don't recognize the marking or yoke knob but the overall design looks like a Tekna. They made a few flow through piston designs that look a lot like that. If it's a Tekna or a clone, it's going to be hard to find a HP seat for it

    DA Aquamaster Retaining Nut

those rings can be really difficult to remove as many are corroded on and yes they are standard right hand thread. Even though I made a general use tool, I also had a "nuclear grade" one that I sometimes had to use. It is also critical to have the body of the reg well secured. Do not just hold...

    DA Aquamaster Retaining Nut

At least for the time being, I am not making tools. I don't have anything remaining. To do the job correctly you really need 2 tools, one to hold the body and the other to turn the ring. If they are not too tight you can get away with the drift method but you have to be really careful. Not...

Seems I have a pinched thread on this valve.

For damage that light, a die is way over kill and you may do more damage than good. Even when you get the die, you will likely have to file the damage out before starting the die.......my advise DON"T use the die. Just clamp the valve in a vise and use a small triangular file, about 1/4 on a...

    Question ScubaBoard's first thread?

As I recall, Ted was most likely 3rd, he was the tech admin. King Neptune (originator of the board I think) and Lady Diver were the first 2. Walter, Ignana Don and Warhammer were few of the early ones. I remember welcoming every new member back in the early days, there were so few of us, we...

    Dacor parts Amazon

Be aware that Dacor used several different HP seats in the same reg (some of them) and you have to change several parts if you swap between the different HP seats. Some times it was just springs and others times it was additional parts. Just because it "fits" a 950 does not necessarily mean it...
