    Scubapro Repair?

You always want to take scubapro regs to an authorized dealer just because you are getting better service and the right parts. If you dont have a LDS scubapro dealer you can mail them to most stores. but call first some dealers charge a lot for labor. The average price for a full reg service...

    Scubapro Seahawk and Knighthawk

I personally use the seahawk I have one with the old cam lock design. Really the only thing scubapro changed on them is the cam lock from last year to a different design. Theres a few left of the old design if you look around (www.thescubaprostore.com) The bladders are identical on the...

    Scubapro Equator

The equator has plenty of lift on it for normal recreational diving. You could even dive a single steel with it. If you are going to get one though do it soon because they were discontinued by scubapro along with the geo this year to make room for having just two travel type BCDs (GO and Litehawk)

    Dumb Question about Air2

The air 2 fits on most bcds except a few like seaquest who make odd diameter hoses. But dont forget you need the air2 inflator hose because of the larger chuck and dont forget to treat it like a regulator not an inflatoralways use the dust cap!

Seawing Nova vs. Jet Fins vs. Poseidon's Trident Fins

There's a reason why scubapro still has jet fins around. They work! That being said they are extremely heavy. The novas are the next great thing and they will be around for awhile. I personally have no problem kicking into current with the regular novas but the gorillas would stop that problem...

    Scubapro Galileo Luna

The luna is great. The only down side isnt that bad. It can be a bit bulky at first but you get used to it pretty quick. It has tons of features: digital compass, air integration, dive planning, nitrox, large log book, ir downloadable, can store pictures, multiple languages, easy navigation...

    Picking a Regulator

Me personaly will want a regulator that will last and will always have parts available to service and no matter were in the world I am. You would fare much better off paying a little bit more and diving it a lot longer. Scubapro MK11/C200 or C300 or if you want to go a little lower end go...

What is the proper procedure for adjusting my mask

The strap isnt there to adjust fit the strap is only there to hold it to your head in a current or something along those lines. Idealy you should be able to use the mask without the strap if it fits right. You can try using a slap strap instead of the silicone strap that comes with it.

What is considered minimum eqiupment for diving.

The bare minimum you would need: Mask Fins boots Snorkel (not always but recommended) Regulator ( First stage, 2nd stage octo, gauges) BCD (You can get these with an Air2 that would replace the octo on your regulator) Computer (you can go with a watch and just dive tables instead but a computer...

    Name that mask!

Unfortunatly companies make so many copies of each others masks. By the look of it, it looks to me to be an old Dacor and thats also unfortunate becasue you wont be able to find a new one with them being bout by mares awhile ago. Its also similar to a scubapro fino which was discontinued a few...

Returning to diving - New equipment purchase

Cant go wrong with scubapro gear. the only thing I would shy away from is the oceanic computer I have seen about a dozen of them have leaking problems

    What do you suggest

Inorde rto get the free parts for life warranty you would have to purchase a BCD, regulator, octo and gauges. You still have a warranty on the regulator if oyu buy it seperatly. It covers they same stuff all other regulator companies cover. to my knowledge the only company that still does the...

    What do you suggest

If you ask most people at dive shops what they dive, Ive found they would say MK25/S600 from scubapro (even if they dont sell scubapro). This is what I dive and would not switch to anything else. It breaths the same if you are at 170' or 20'. upside down or just swimming normally. The swivel is...

    Leaking Mask

If you are finding ones that fit but still get little leaks here and there you can buy a mask seal that is almost like a wax substance that many divers use when they have mustaches and refuse to shave. Good luck

    Buy from LDS or Ebay

Scubapro has established map pricing for all of their products online and at the LDS and enforce that with the companies. The difference being LDS are authorized to do up to 10% discount. You might be looking at a luna without the transmitter.
