It is still uwatec. Scubapro has just started dropping Uwatec's name to make it less confusing for people when they see uwatec and scubapro. They came out with the watch style so they could have a watch computer that could be worn in everyday situations not just while diving. Also we just got...
Have sold both in the store but no longer sell the oceanics. Just wasnt the same quality as the scubapro. I dive with the scubapro wrist myself and it is great with no problems. If you want a hose integrated computer look at the subgear XP-H
We should have the meridians in by the end of the month, or I should say, we should have them by the end of the month considering we will have a free seminar on how to use them and the features on the tech gear from a scubapro sales rep the second week of April.
the only thing i would not recommend is the veo. I have seen an abnormal amount of leaks in the battery compartment of the veo series of computers including the aeris, genisis, sherwood equivlents
you can do it either way. I dive mine down for a lower profile but many people dive it up because they are afraid of hitting their head on it (I have never had that happen) or they just want a couple more inches of play out of the swivel.
split fins help a lot. The scubapro has perfected the split with the twin jets and it is a much easier kick than most fins. We have had people with knee and back surgerys tow people against current with them before.
I dive the scubapro frameless and they now have a frameless mini for smaller faces and some cheaper optoins with the orbit and solo. The subgear action is also a good mask with a low volume. The ghost mask is nice but its all white (not for all people)
poor some warm water down a wetsuit before you get in the water and that will skip the step of your body heat warming the water that seeps into the suit.
we are a naui store but the owner was a pasi instructor before he crossed over years ago. Dont want to date him but his pasi instructor # is 3 digits.
Water temp is 68 in the gulf today, warming back up

Have a few spots left for a Bonaire trip in June. information is on website below under travel.
You dont have to live in florida to go with us. we have had people all over the usa do trips with us. Airfare is not included so people just meet us down in the islands.
Insel has been a good rate...
Oceanic and aeris are the same company. Its hard to find a great wireless air integrated copmuter down in the 500-600 price range. If you go to the hoseintegrated computers you would go down in price and still get your pressure read-out just not in a wrist mount. The subgear XP-H is a great...
zeagle rangers, zeagle stilletos, scubapro seahawk, scubapro geo, scubapro equator, subgear accents.
All are marked down for the week on the website below
