I know but I have issues with things being tight around my neck and I don't like how restrictive a wetsuit hood feels. I was thinking a drysuit hood would be more comfortable. Would a drysuit hood work the same if it is on a wetsuit?

The dive is set up to be a halibut fishing trip. It's not a regular boat dive. OUVEA - I am looking at a Mako because the customer service is amazing from what I have read. I am looking at the predator in a 80cm for rock fish and halibut.

Would a JBL mini gun work for those fish? It is 22.25 inches in length withouth the shaft and 30 inches with the shaft.

Do you have to use the Halcyon plate for this set up?
