I gave up SM just recently. I found that I was using far more gas than single tank just pushing the rig around, so the benefit of having the extra gas wasn't all that great. Now for recreational dives I use the single tank and if I'm going deep and cold, I'll take a pony for the redundancy...

FWIW, I have been aggressively "attacked" by both fresh and salt water fish that expected to be fed. By attacked, I mean bitten. In each case they were small, and I was in a place where these fish would normally be fed, so my presence meant food. Why they were aggressive about it is beyond...
