Fills - time for the overpriced LDSs to expire!

Genesis, you're such an expert (from what i've read on this board) on dive shops, why don't you open one and show us how it should be done. Please don't quote us the "I've been a CEO, etc". That's getting a little tired also. I mean no disrespect but all you do on this board for the most part is...

    Strain-reliefs vs the Wireless transmitter

I use a 7/16 x 7/16 adapter that is about 3/4 inch long on my transmitter. You should be able to get it at your LDS. It works great for me.

    Need help installing Air II

Was something read into my post that I missed? ["Thirdly, the crap comment was too easy-that's why it was probably ignored!"] This thread started out with someone asking for some help and then deteriorated to whether the piece of equipment was junk or not. I don't think I read anything...

    Any good hoods?

Try the Henderson HyperStretch hood. It has a lot more stretch that a normal hood. The Henderson Gold Core hood is an exellent hood, just doesn't strech as much.

    Carbon tanks?

For what it's worth, Luxfer has been working on a fiber wrapped 104 or 105 cu ft tank @ 4200 psi. As far as I know the DOT has not certified it yet. Also fiber wrapped tanks in the U.S. have a 15 year life span. This is a DOT regulation.

    Do Yo Support Your Lds??

For those that endorse online equipment buying - what business are you in? Do you work in a business that has to compete with the internet or do you work for an insulated company that doesn't have to worry about internet competition. It's easy to blast the LDS (and I know some really do...

    Sasy

Just for the record (and I'm not defending PADI) neither PADI or SSI or any other certification agency came up with SASY/SASA. It was an idea that was patented by an individual (Wayne Hasson) that has been licensed by Auqalung 2-3 years ago and now Scubapro. See the following link...
