From what I remember the voucher was like a coupon. It was used as partial payment for the tank. I don't remember seeing anything about the dealers lowering the price of their tanks. I could be wrong.

I use a Ranger for local diving and an Escape for travel/warm water diving. The Escape is a lot lighter for traveling. Very happy with both BCs. If you didn't get the yellow weight pouches I would recommend getting them.

I think your asking if the L.P. 2nd stage hose for the Viper will only work on the Viper. I believe the answer is no. I'm pretty sure that the Viper hose is a standard second stage fitting. The older Extremes and Enduros had the propriatary(sp?) hose. If you are asking about inflator hoses...
