    Pressure sending unit on hose?

I know a few people that do it. It will work fine, but I don't understand why they do it. Now it takes more space in the bag and has the chance to flop around instead of staying put bolted to the first stage. Why do you want to move it?

My phantom mask is leaking ---help!!!!

Take the mask and fill it full of water. Pick it up. Does it leak out of the seal around the frame or anywhere else? If so, there is a defect and you should continue to try to get poseiden to replace it. Also, inspect the silicon and make sure there are no rough spots or tears - also likely...

    Connecting hoses to first stage?

Sometimes there will be a port designated for higher flow meant for the primary regulator. But, that is not that common. In general, any LP goes to any LP as noted above.

    Defamation

I slept in a Holiday Inn last night, and this is bad info. If you are a lawyer, you should know that a claim of defamation may have different elements in different jurisdictions. Saying that a claimant must prove that they are affected in a "business" or professional sense is simply not true...

LDS Charging to TRY ON wetsuits???

Did they give you the $25 back if you bought the wetsuit or they weren't ale to sell you one that fit? I ran into a similar thing with a fin demo day - they wanted $10 to try fins but didn't offer it back as a credit if you purchased. I didn't care for that. But, if its what you have to do to...

BARE HD Trilam Tec vs. DUI TLS 350

Where is your exhaust valve? Mine is on the left arm right where it belongs. The DUI was right at $3k when I tried buying one. Same price at two LDS.

BARE HD Trilam Tec vs. DUI TLS 350

I don't know what issues you are trying to fix. Bare has a great warranty, so if you are spending money it's because you bought the wrong size suit or want customizations. When I was shopping for my drysuit, the DUI was $1500 more than I paid for my Bare.

BARE HD Trilam Tec vs. DUI TLS 350

The difference between Bare and DUI is what, around $1500? More seriously, you should have no issues with the Bare suit. It sounds more like you are just getting used to it. But, if it is the wrong size, that could be an inconvenience though that would be any suit regardless of the material.

Question on Hooka Style air hose systems.

How long are your performances? As an alternative, could you not just use a tank with a long hose on it?

EAN32 fill require O2 clean tank or not

The percentage of O2 in the blend isn't the issue its how its filled. If the gas goes into the tank as 32%, then there is no reason to get it O2 cleaned. If you buy 22% and they put that extra 1% in as pure O2 (partial pressure blending), then you need O2 clean tanks. So, if they have a bank...

Can PADI insrtuctors work from home, thus not related to any dive shop?? opinions pl

Although I am not positive about Europe, its no problem here in the US. I took my AOW from an independent instructor. However, if all you want to do is teach neighbors and friends, you may find the costs of insurance, etc to be prohibitive.

    Pony Bottle, worth it?

Agreed. If there is enough play in it that you can whack yourself in the head, its time to take a second look at your rigging. I sling mine and once its on, I forget about it. I've done roll entries and stride entries and never had a problem. I am slinging a 19, so maybe this is a bigger...

    Pony Bottle, worth it?

There is no one singular right answer for using a pony bottle or not. You need to think about your diving and whether it will be good for you. Me, I am just not comfortable putting my safety in the hands of another diver I don't know that well. Too many times they bolt, disappear, or...

What would that under shirt be called??

It was probably a rash guard. Some people wear them underneath the suit to make it easier to get on and off. They are not necessary. Rash guards are very stretchy. They very well could be one size fits most. But, I have certainly seen them with sizes. Thick wetsuits can be a trick to get...

    DM not helping students

If he was fatigued after the swim, it may not have been appropriate or safe to continue in the pool that night. While I agree that you can continue with the confined water training while a student works on improving swimming skills, without being there it is not possible to say whether that...

    I just can't sink!

I'm surprised the instructor couldn't solve this for you too. You haven't told us what kind of suit or how much weight you were using. So, it could just be that you need more weight. I use a lot of weight and it's not because I'm doing anything wrong - I just need that much. Without it I get...
