Took the plunge and bought it. Put five dives on it this weekend. Today, I tried to compensate for a perceived or actual underweight yesterday and was way too heavy. Next dive will go back to my previous weight. Yesterday though, she dove perfectly. Also bought the reg which has worked...

I did look on E-bay and other locations and it is right on for a used one of that model. I am diving it again this weekend so we'll see.

Dropped by the LDS today, guy had a Zeagle Ranger that was used. He knows the history of it for the last two years or so. I would say its newer... has the mask roll up pouch, and no discoloration. Bladder looks good, and there are no leaks. I even got it in the water at my wifes class' pool...

Any Firefighters on here set up their Regulator to mimic an SCBA? Primary over left shoulder, console and computer over right... SCBA don't have backups so that could be moved around. I'm curious if anyone had tried this...

It will be next spring before I am able to buy anything of significance...BC, Comp, etc. I am also looking to replace or supplement my masks, fins, etc. Thus I have a long time to armchair shop. Reviews and opinions on here and other places sure help.

Ok, I have seen people talk about shops they work for wanting them to wear the shops brand. Sort of fair enough. My question is, how brand loyal is everyone? Do you try to stay with one brand? Do you mix and match to your hearts content? I'm curious about this. Thanks

Being a matter of personal preference, I gave splits the benefit of the doubt and tried a pair my last dive, SP twin jets. Didn't like them, went back to my paddles. Just works better for me.

I was watching a show on tv about a dive team documenting the Oriskany and had to turn it off...I got a serious case of "I wanna" jitters...=)

I have a place up behind my fog lights my keys fit, I just make sure no one is looking when I stick them there.

I'm curios how the guy that did the 1010 fsw open circuit dive took care of....well...business. Seriously though, both bodily functions could become a problem on long deco dives. Thinking about that, what do you do for fresh water to drink on long dives???
