i personally use a nocturnal SL50 for my focus light and it mounts directly to the camera housing using two ultra light balls and a clamp works beautifully. theother thing you could do to mount it to your rig would be to use a ultra light ultralight triple clamp . and mount it on the directly...
what parabolic said. also what ever you do don't let the film dry out and also tell the people at the lab it is wet because wet film is slippery and can slip off the leader card if they don't use extra tape they may try and tell you it cant be processed but it can.
the sea cam flashes give u true ITTL but the cost a small fortune the make a 250 and 150 the 150 are more reasonably price but they are expensive

those spots in the sky might might be stars that are just starting to appear if they are not and they are actually hot spots you should call canon and see what they say they might replace it even if it is out of warranty
