took the word wright out of my mouth. one thing to be cautious cameras like the Nikon D-40 and the Oly E410 is that there are a limited number of lenses. i think that there are only 12 lenses avalible for the D-40 and as for the oly E410 it has a 4/3 sized sensor in it which also limits the...
one thing you mite be causing it to not opine is a pressure difference if you cleaned it on a hot day and sealed it back up and the housing cooled down there would be a vacuum on the housing. that could make it really hard to open if not impossible to open if you ever take it on a plain make...

i find that that with my camera i need a lens that is at-least 17mm or wider to get a decent wide angle shot. my camera has a 1.6x crop factor. Also it is a plus if you can find a lens that focuses to within a 6 inches of you subjects. a foot is acceptable if you are diving in very clean water...

thanks, have never seen them before we came across about 6 of them on this one dive. and this one was not in my species id books. by chance do you know what the range is one these crabs.
Don't do it in the camera!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do it afterwards in photo shop or some sort of editing program. the camera does not do a very good job at this plus if you don't like it you cant undo it if you do it . i would just focus on getting close to your subject. and you should see some...
this might be a little over the top on the hole urine is sterol thing but in a survival situation you can drink your on piss to slow dehydration. personally i have a pee valve in my dry suit so i can go any time especially important on the 3 hour bug hunting night dives and the deco stops. i got...
all the images are lacking some contrast they are all a little gray. good composition on the first and las one. i would say get closer to your subjects. i can be a hard place to photograph when the water is dirty. the second image needs to be cropped in on the fish a lot. i thick the top one is...
i like my neoprene suit it is made by bare and one advantage to neoprene in cold water is that if you get a tare in the suit you are not completely screwed it still has some thermal retention properties. and in my opinion my 6mm neoprene suit is wormer than my DUI suit. also i like the fact that...
Dive naked thing look bigger in the water :rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3:

you think it would be heavy holding the housing they also make a 20 inch arm for it with remote trigger so you can hold it out of the water and shoot. i could not even imagine how heave it would be like that i have the 70-200 and it get heavy lugging it around all day at a weddings. if...
one housing company that might should have a port for this lens is Aquatech the make really nice housing for for a rang of cameras and lenses and they specialize in housing for surfing they make one for the canon 70-200 f2.8. i think that here housing go down to around 100 ft or so the are nice...

i have used both a 6 and a 13 CF tanks and there is not much difference in size i like the 13 CF bottle better the the 6 CF bottle because it will give you enough time to do a safety stop at deeper depths. the 13 CF bottle is also negative at full and empty. i have very good air consumption and...
i forgot to mention it would be top side only the 28-80L is the older version of the 24-70L i know there both heavy lenses for there size. but I can get the 28-80L for about half the price of the 24-70L i would primarily be using it for event photography and weddings along with my 70 to 200...
