Are you talking about the backpad or the shoulder strap pads? The latter should work fine regardless of BP size

I have a set of raptors and like them. Really all the "Natures wing" design split fins are VERY similar. The raptors are a little stiffer than the Tusa Zooms, for example, but it's a minor difference.

You could go for the "combat" model. Only difference is it's black and has pockets... AFAIK it's still in production

Thanks Joe. Kevin was great even offering to send me his personal light in the interim. I delcined but it was a very generous gesture. Looks like it's going to be about a month waiting on a new one... Not ideal but better than the runaround I was getting from my LDS.
