    Stopping Smoking.

Great for you Griff, you can do it. As with "Fit", "Form", and "Function"…. everything is interrelated. Scuba diving becomes one of the biggest “Driving Forces” in our lives. We all joke about it, but we truly start to see how everything we do impacts our diving.

Go Go Gadget, how did you find dive with Alison? I found her operation on ScubaBoard a few years ago, and tried to dive with her. She was going on vacation while we were going to be in Cozumel, she refered us to Chucho Divers, another great operation. I am making an assumption here, But I...

don’t forget about a strobe. I find It's a must below 30 ft. I love my Ikelite, the housing is a bit large but neutral buoyant without the strobe. When I put the Ikelite DS161 on it. it becomes negatively buoyant.

ColinCB, It sounds like you have the bug, Scuba Pox. Where do you go from here? that’s the million dollar question. It sounds like you have a keen eye and are able to identify issues with “trim”, “buoyancy” and the rest. How about giving back to the sport you...

Thank you everyone. This has been a great thread to watch, even though it’s only a few days old. Hugh started this thread with some valid questions, one of the first replies said to be prepared for some “tongue in cheek” or “antagonistic” replies. :eyebrow: In...

    Padi Open Water Quizes

The instructor should be able to work with you, and get through the program. After getting my AOW with PADI, I took a few SSI (Not PADI) courses; they (SSI) developed the materials so you get to keep the review questions in your book.

COZUMEL - Wetsuit / No Wetsuit?

Mostly it depends on the diver. I normally wear a skin in any water >75 degrees, my wife wears a 3mm in the Caribbean, 7mm in california. Rule of thumb; Pack for the plane, rent the rest.
