Difference between old Scubapro MK25/A700 and the MK25 EVO?

Just holding it in my mouth, the main thing I noticed was the weight difference and the size. As far as a blind test (if you could ignore the differences mentioned above) I would agree that it might be hard to notice the difference. Both are great regs, I was just noting the differences I noticed:).

Difference between old Scubapro MK25/A700 and the MK25 EVO?

Hi! I don't know enough about it to go into detail on the mechanics of it- all I know is Scubapro's write up on it claimed environmentally insulated to protect from cold and silty conditions- the cold I understand, not sure about the silt. The reg I owned last was actually a Dacor, I have dove...

Difference between old Scubapro MK25/A700 and the MK25 EVO?

Oh, I love it! It's the easiest- breathing regulator I've ever used. I also like that it is light weight and very compact. You can read more on Scubapros website, but as I understand, the main difference is the EVO is built to widthstand some serious cold water and silty conditions. All the blue stuff you see inside the 1st stage if you look at pictures of it is environmental...

    Vertigo and Diving

Ok, thank you guys And yes, wearing a 5 mil hood, it's fitted, but not super tight. That totally makes sense that cold water would do that going into one ear and not the other!

    Vertigo and Diving

Hi all! I am a dive master candidate- and have been having some issues with vertigo. Its odd- most of the time I have no problem with it, but occasionally I'll get vertigo. The first time it happened I was at 90 feet, my buddy, who is an instructor, and I spent a few minutes at 90 ish feet in a...
