    Uwatec Aladin Air z Nitrox

the change of your setup to 300 bar should not make any difference for the transmitter at all. the 300 bar / 200 bar classification only refers to the maximum pressure the valve connection is safe to operate/withstand.

    Poseidon regulators

i like poseidon. i the US, however, the brand has been tarnished with issues like service, shortage on parts etc. very sad. a very good example how a company can screw up their reputation despite an excellent product. since you are norway, this would would not be a problem for you, i suppose.

Which computer to get? Should i get Suunto?

depends on what kind of diving you want to do. in general terms, both of them are great computers and you won't regret buying either of them. they are pretty conservative. this is not a bad thing, though.

    computer redundancy

to add to this (i have deleted the ndl comment): theoretically, two liquivision with multideco (one running buhl and the other vpm) could do the trick. however, looking at redundancy you are then exposing yourself to identical hardware which could have issues. again, just food for thought...

    computer redundancy

thanks, i was probably a little too ignorant of that fact. apologies.

    computer redundancy

thanks, daleC. i think the main differences in algos can be seen in different scenarios in decompression diving (ndl diving might give a minute more or less but not have a significant impact IMHO). now, assuming you run buhlmann and vpm, i strongly believe that you find dive plans where one...
