I see, from your previous post I was under the impression you were going to stay at small lalaguna. I've never been to Aninuan - is there still the only one really nice beach resort there or are there now other resorts there?

If you're looking for cheap dives and just there to shoot nudibranches, do the shore dive package at Planet Dive or Dive n Trek. Ditto on the joining a group for the weekend to lower cost.

Mark does go out to Verde, but keep in mind that he only has one speed boat, so if you're diving with others it might not be possible to go unless they all want to go. His prices for dives will depend on how many dives total you do with him and anything extra. Best to send him an email or...

For photo/video shooting and single traveler service, you might want to check out Club Ocellaris as well. Bill22 stayed with them and highly recommends them. Boy Venus, the owner, is a good man in my conversations with him.

I second Planet Dive. Also in the Mabini area is Dive n Trek and Portulano, who have nice house reefs. Another option is the house reef of Atlantis Resort in Dumaguete. One of the best house reefs I've dove is in South Point Diver (Lemlunay Resort), Sarangani Bay. Hope that helps.
