Well, you know...if that's your immediate choices....

Kill any giant/interesting sealife you find?

LOL Not exactly edible, thought. If only it wasn't loaded with amonia, it could solve world hunger. :D

Kill any giant/interesting sealife you find?

You still haven't answered one of my first questions...what other giants are you talking about? The only other I know of was the giant squid (archeteuthus) last summer. That was most certainly brought up by a marine biologist, NOT a fisherman. And it is well-documented that it was near death...

Kill any giant/interesting sealife you find?

You are a scuba diver, right? So you have some working knowledge of gas laws and physiology?

Kill any giant/interesting sealife you find?

Again...see above... You don't actually have to physically see a live one in its natural habitat to know there are plenty of them down there...plenty of other evidence.

Yes, Virginia, there really is a huge squid

Not from what I have heard about these guys...more like eaten... From what we know, colossals are pretty foul-tempered, and quite potent predators. I would no more want to be in the water with one of these guys than I would with a Megaladon. :11:

Kill any giant/interesting sealife you find?

Oh, gee...I don't know....possibly all those scars on the heads of sperm whales from their suckers...or the carcasses found in the sperm whales' bellies when they wash up on the shore? No. You're right...being caught on a hook don't kill ya. That job is left to being hauled up from around...

Kill any giant/interesting sealife you find?

If you're talking about the Colossal squid they caught, no one is taking a picture of it unless they catch it, and the act of catching it likely did it in long before it was ever hauled on to the boat. These guys are likely pretty plentyful, as they make up a significant portion of the diet of...

    Giant squid - again

This isn't a Giant Squid (archeteuthus). This is a Colossal Squid (Mesonychoteuthis hamiltoni). Completely different species, and to the best of our knowledge, neither is endangered. Also, not of much commercial use, since both are loaded with amonia, not to mention the rarity of the catch...

    Tank location on the BC??

You'll cover this in your class. If your question isn't answered by what is covered, talk to your instructor. To some degree, this is dependant on your own physique and personal preference.

Need tips on gear removal at depth for OW

Your weighting is the same with your BC on or BC off, as long as you are still holding on to it. Just make sure you don't let go of it, and you should be fine. :)

What to do while waiting for a flight from Curacao to Bonaire?

Hmmm....My favorite parts of Curacao were all underwater, so I guess that's out...might want to see if you can do the Seaquarium and make it back on time for your flight. If not, at least there are plenty of restaurants in downtown Willamstad... ;)

Why do you have to attend Nitrox classes in order to use Nitrox?

:) My primary motivation to start my training was self-defense, so jutsu was what appealed to me. But I do have a healthy appreciation for do as well...

Why do you have to attend Nitrox classes in order to use Nitrox?

As I said...a drinking problem. :D Mentally, yes. Physically, it can be very hard on the body...to me, diving is much more relaxing, but martial arts has a way of ingraining itself in every aspect of your life and making you better for it...

Why do you have to attend Nitrox classes in order to use Nitrox?

Aikido was my very first exposure to the martial arts, long before I had any formal training. Very beautiful style, but a little too "Do" focused for my liking...I much prefer "jutsu" styles. :)

Why do you have to attend Nitrox classes in order to use Nitrox?

Learned them in both. Just like I said, wasn't reciting them in my sleep yet. ;)
