Your in the same situation that I was in. I decided to do the nitrox class first.

Hotel cozumel doesn't have much in the way of shore dives. I stayed there twice sofar and all they have is three small piles of rock out front that they put there, otherwise its just flat bottom. Now the hotel is nice and close to town.

Is anyone diving the jetties in destin or panama city memorial day weekend? I'm thinking of making a weekend dive trip down there.

If you like to dive, CoCo View is heaven. The place was built by divers for divers and the walls in front of the lodge are fantastic. Easy shore dive.

I'll be in bonaire july 29th thru august 6th diving at Bubby's. Look us up if your there during this time frame. Maybe you could get in some dives with us.

I talked to the guys at deep south wednesday and they said that they knew you. You should give me a shout sometimes. We dive in east texas often. Not the best diving but at least its wet.

Mostly in cozy, roatan and some fresh water in texas. Where did you get your c-card?

You have ten more dives than I had when I got cert. there. It depends on the weather.

you guys check out athens scuba park in athens, tx. Its about a six hour drive from jackson, ms. Good vis and warm water.

I stayed there in june. the hotel is good and the food is ok. dive paradise is also a good op. if you like, pm me your e-mail and i'll send you some pics.
