Good luck to you. Some advice I give to all DMC's is to work with as many different Inst's and classes as you can. Try not to stick with just one Inst. so you can see many different teaching styles and "cherry pick" to devlop your own teaching/assisting style. Have fun with it.

Santa Rosa shallow in Cozumel is a great dive and you can do the "deep" side as a shallow dive too. To me Roatan on the North side has the best "shallow" diving I have ever seen the reef starts at the surface. Followed by St. Croix, then Bonaire.

I've dove AKR to Coco View (Roatan) and haven't see a part that would make the Keys a better choice!!!! Personally I like the AKR to West End diving.
