Iceland and Japan share the same Futon

Tell me what drives you to call whales cows. Is it because cetaceans are descended from ungulates? That would make humans "baboons with harpoons". Don't pretend that there aren't people that care about sharks and the rest of the marine ecosystem. If you and Kim want to help whalers so much...

Iceland Breaks Ban, Kills Endangered Whale

    Does that mean it's ok?

Iceland and Japan share the same Futon

As if that were remotely true! Which doesn't sound like a bad idea. We'd probably have more food available if we weren't feeding all these livestock. There would be less starvation worldwide.

    Program to help save whales

And you'd be just the person to know that.:eyebrow:

    Program to help save whales

I know he's sunk ships; show me something said/written by Paul Watson or a Sea Shepherd member saying that people were aboard any of those ships.

Iceland Breaks Ban, Kills Endangered Whale

I think most would agree that if everyone thought the same thing, it would not be very pleasant.

    Pilot Whale strandings

I guess it's scientific research if it means killing hundreds of whales in one winter, cutting them up and selling their meat to markets and restaurants and saying that they eat fish and that they're bigger than people...

    Program to help save whales

Dennis needs to give better proof than content from clearly biased web sites. Paul Watson's actions are illegal, are they? So is whaling. ...and, my dear friend, your position is consistent with that of a whaler and anti-environmentalist.

    funny tv commercial

I really liked that one, I've never seen it before. This one's not an ad, just totally random but funny as well. IwNvxLDJXfQ

    Program to help save whales

You should be ashamed of yourself. Sea Shepherd is the only organization that physically intervenes with illegal whaling. They haven't hurt anyone so far, and they make it a point not to. Go Paul Watson!;) Is it better to kill whales or to defend them? I wouldn't be surprised at the content...

Iceland Breaks Ban, Kills Endangered Whale

Actually, I did say we're wiping ourselves out. Try learning to read better. Are you saying that not many people would agree with me, or are you trying to call me a loser?

Iceland Breaks Ban, Kills Endangered Whale

There are plenty of international laws and regulations meant to protect whales. Was it enforcement that you meant? Anyway, if most people cared, we wouldn't be racing towards extinction like we are now. The rate at which we're destroying the ecosystem (destruction of habitats, exctinctions...

Iceland Breaks Ban, Kills Endangered Whale

Who are you to decide that? How much do you really know about cetaceans? I'm reeling at your attitude right now. Why is it screwed up to respect another's right to life? There has been cannibalism in cases where people together are starving. You haven't given a good example, because when people...

Iceland Breaks Ban, Kills Endangered Whale

There is overall too much focus on those things IN PROPORTION TO (note the bold italic caps) environmental issues such as whaling, in my opinion. We should think about ecological problems as well as smaller-scale problems among our own species. We should stop all "wholesale killing" by...

You know you are a beginner when you post threads like this. I know it isn't true, but someone had to say it :rofl3:

What Americans? You mean by nets and pollution? Or do you mean aboriginal whaling?

Iceland and Japan share the same Futon

Aren't they losing more face by whaling?

Dolphin with extra set of fins

It looks like a hoax to me. An attempt to justify further "research" by whalers.

    will dolphins kick *&%?

I think a good signal to get out of the water is when a dolphin squawks loudly at you and makes big bubbles while coming at you at a right angle (e.g. head-on). It also isn't a good sign if one gives you a good view of its teeth.
