I guess global warming is changing the global distribution of precipitation.

    Dolphins are our friends!

That's how they swim upwards! Sheesh. Too bad that dolphin is captive anyway.

    Update on global warming!

This winter there were about three days of snow here in Vienna. Three days far apart from one another. I didn't even need my ski jacket. I did every winter before that. This winter's never been milder.

    Sea Lions Gone Wild

I meant the place (Miami Seaquarium), not the website. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

    14 people bitten!

I once saw p a photo of a sea loin in California biting her own pup due to brain damage caused by toxic algae. We don't only have to worry about pollution, but also what our pollution gives rise to. The algae is a primitive organism killing lots of more advanced organisms.

    Program to help save whales

I read many news reports from various sources about Sea Shepherd, and never has there been one of human deaths (not even on ActivistCash.com) or felony charges concerning the group. Creation vs. Evolution

Maybe BIGSAGE136 means that necessity manipulated our being? E.g., marine mammals spend a lot of time in the water; water conducts heat faster than air, so they adapted by developing blubber insulation. In this case, that manipulative variable was the heat-sapping feature of water. I didn't get...

    200 whales to be killed...

    Lost diver in Puget Sound

My condolences to all that were close to him. I never really had the desire to dive with bad visibility.

Iceland Breaks Ban, Kills Endangered Whale

Human slavery has been a European tradition since the Roman Empire. I'm wonder what those "traditional" whalers would say if we resumed that!:eyebrow:

    Japanese whaling fleet sails again,

Not looking good for Operation Leviathan. I wonder if Paul Watson will decide to depart early with only one ship. http://www.seashepherd.org/leviathan/
