My initial thought when looking at tank handles is that they look like an entanglement hazard.
Are they actually a serious enough entanglement hazard to worry about? I don't know.
I do know that carrying my tanks by the valve eventually becomes uncomfortable.

That very well could be. I just found it interesting, given the geographic distribution of scubaboard members, that the first three responses were all from my neck of the woods.
Does anyone have any experience with these? I don't have a need for any new boltsnaps (I currently have a drawer full and then some), but these look "interesting".

I have had this happen. It worked out fine in the end, but there were a couple of slightly tense moments until another ticketing agent with more experience intervened.
Before I started diving I thought that when I eventually did start diving I would buy a strider BD Dive Tool.
