I like to bring it back to life from time to time. Some people get so serious about it, it's funny to 'tweak' them a little. If someone told me 'Boat diving sucks', I'd say 'Big Deal'. But tell a 'Dutch head' Dutch sucks and they get all weird and defensive. I think they cry about it when...

Oh geez. You again, Mr. Marks. I thought I 'shook' you over at the other thread. I don't dive the boats EVERY weekend. Sometimes I do other things than dive. Somethimes I jump in the inlet. And I never caught a lobster at Dutch. Crabs in the locker room, maybe. But no lobsters. No flounder...

That's the move.

Next year I think I'll wear a t-shirt with 'phillyrob' on it so I can meet some people from the boards. What do you think ? Bad idea ? Maybe a helmet with face shield and flack jacket, too ? :D

Did anyone see the motorized reel ? It weighed about twenty pounds and was huge. Some of the crap...

Dive Rite Cutting Tools - DIR Knives, Z-Knives, Shears Hogarthian knife ? The 'broken' steak knife ? I didn't see the booth, but I think this is what you're talking about. I don't think DiveRite sells only the sheath, though.

Anywhoo... Did anyone see the BosskUSA booth ? I never heard of them before.They had some really cool anodized aluminium lights. Cone shaped. The rep. is sending me a price list, but I think they're an arm and a leg. They had a nice modeling light for photography, too.

My Northern Diver Cortex exhaust valve (Apex) is on the fritz. It's stuck in the full open position (could be worse) and the dial just spins and spins. It doesn't stop turning at full open or full closed. I always keep it full open anyway and have dove it like it is no problem, but I'd like it...

Yeah, that's were I bought them. How cool was that ? They really are a lot lighter and more flexible. They were out of the blue 30 inch, so I'll order one off their site later. Any word on the WV site, Grunz ?

Just got back. Picked up a few MiFlex hoses. They seemed to be the hot item this year. I didn't see the $1000 fins, though I did see the flip fins. I think they're a joke. Took a photo workshop. I may have learned something. We'll see. Is the 'WreckValley' site down ? I can't get on.

For a little more cash, you can get the VT3. I just got one but haven't gotten it wet yet.

Try an OceanMaster. They're pretty wide and built like a tank.

Without trying to hijack the thread, L.P.'s warranty is actually BETTER than the manufacturers. The duration is the same and they'll just give you a new item, they won't even attempt to repair a broken item. I like new. I dive an Oceanic Chute 3 (bought at an l.d.s.) and love it. O.K. I...
