They do require an orientation dive

"Normal Orientation: (Recommended)
The normal dive orientation is Sunday morning at 8:30am, upstairs in the clubhouse.
There is a 24 minute DVD followed by a shore dive with one or more of our Dive
Masters. The cost of this Sunday orientation dive...
I'm not sure I know, but I have an old princeton tech c cell "twist on" that must be 15-20 y/o (the reflector is now delaminated and the bulb is incandescent but I can replace both if I wanted). Another one of similar build is maybe 5 y/o. Those are back up type lights, I haven't owned a primary...
Some people have had good experiences with those magicshines(I know at least of one using it as primary in short cave dives), but I had two fail at about 1.5 years.
They have three settings...for night dives I would use it in the lowest setting and covered the head with two fingers. (Unless I...
I'd say you are set for boat dives as well. Even for a night boat dive here in Florida, this is what I use --> 125 lumens light or a 220 lumens light

For the most part people...

It applies because YOU should know better, you are responsible for your own safety. Had they been assaulted within resort premisses, then I'd say they had a reasonable expectation of safety and the resort was responsible. Now, you go past the guards with no care in the world, crap happens...
So, you go out in bear country with a salami strapped to your neck and blame the bear when it mauls you?
Of course, the bad guy is the bad one. Now, the potential victims need to proactive to not become actual victims.
Third week in March, and you are posting the fourth week? Did you mean May maybe?
Check waterproof wetsuits, they really have a WIDE variety of stock sizes. They also have some good closeout prices on their website and you may get lucky.
This article refers to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
The OP refered to Punta Cana, Mexico (I find no online references to it though)
