PADI pro website and padi pro questions

Mine starts with 3. Got it here in Saudi, but since my instructor was attached to a UK office, my cert routed through there. Hopefully it won't be an issue if I ever get back to the states. or maybe I'll end up on some tropical island somewhere....hmmmmm....

Learn and Practice Dive Table Problems On Line

Exactly my point. I find myself not using them nearly as often as I should, and it usually bites me when we are going out and I have a newer diver ask me questions on planning their dive. Kindof embarrassing when I have to go through it a couple of times on my own instead of just being able to...

Will titanium rod in the leg be affected during diving?

When my father had his hips replaced...not at the same time which he regretted later...he found that he wasn't healing very quickly at all. I recommended he get in the pool and swim laps as he felt comfortable to do, and it cut his recovery/healing time in a big way. His doctor now recommends...

    Aquacat question

From the liveabards I have been on, I can say if you have any doubt that you MAY get seasick, take something for it. Once you get behind the curve, it have seen it is very hard to get caught back up, and more often than not, you never will feel good until its all over. I personally don't get...

Will titanium rod in the leg be affected during diving?

It's pretty amazing how far medical technology has come in the last 15-20 years isn't it? Glad to hear that if something does ever happen to me I should still be able to dive, but you all are making me consider getting rid of my bikes whenever I get back to the states. Look at the bright side...

How deep can you dive safely

You can ask this question a hundred different times, and get a hundred different answers. Narcosis will set in and will affect everyone differently. Some of us go to 120-130+ and never feel a thing. Not to say we aren't experiencing it, we just don't have as evident a response than others. Some...

How soon can you drink alcohol after diving?

I like to get the gear off first myself. Drying off will come naturally as you sip on a cold one!

Honest question for you dive masters instructors out there

I'll leave the gear alone unless either something really jumps out at me, or in watching the divers get ready I notice someone REALLY lost in what they are doing. Then you also need to ask them a few questions and be sure they are in the right frame of mind to be going down at all. I will never...

    Another question about no-fly times

Right on. I was looking through the current materials and didn't see it. I'll look deeper. Thank you for the assistance! edit: Found it! B. What are the guidelines for flying after diving? 1. For a single dive within the no decompression limit, a minimum preflight surface interval of 12...

    \ Where you seeing that?

1 tank over within 36 minutes

Like some of our friends here have already said, if you relax and breathe normally, just as you would on the surface, you will begin to see an improvement. With experience will come even more improvement, and every time you go out you will begin to see the changes. Weighting is VERY important...
