Warning! Shark spotted in Whaler's Cove!

I'd guess humor and pretty clever title for marketing. Made us read the thread, didn't it? We see leopards, but it's not so common that we don't get excited about it up here. BTW, I love the Dive Dry series very informative and entertaining.

Monterey conditions. (let's keep it going )

I've seen seals do the same thing. It's the same behavior as when they nibble your fins. It's important keep in mind that pinnipeds are carnivorous predators, and that many carnivorous mammals exhibit behavior that many would deem cruel. Even the cute ones. One possible thing to consider is...

    Money no object

I'd say my brain is the finest dive instrument I can possibly own, but I understand the intent of the question. I would choose one of the Shearwaters. Just my opinion.

    Knight hawk

Without going into details, I am in a position to dive anything I want. Right now I have about 60 bouyancy control models from ten or twelve manufacturers in my size at my disposal. For recreational diving, it's my first choice and has been for eight years. And, no, I don't work for Scubapro :-)...

    conservative factor question on VT4

The conservitive factor is on or off. It is available for both algorithms. What it does is change the decompression algorithm so it calculates your dives as if you were one elevation higher than you actually are. To match your buddies computer, you would have to try the four different settings...

Removing the wrist strap on the DG03

It works the same way as a ordinary wrist watch. There are pins with spring loads in them, you need to have a thin tool, like a small screwdriver, slip it in near where it connects, then push the pin over, place some tension on the strap so one end pops free, the other side is easy, just a tug...
