Florida divers look for Caulerpa brachypus

Caramba. Sometimes I hate to admit I ever had anything to do with aquariums.

    Removing stickers

I used to own a bookstore, and it was a b**** getting the price tags off the returns. We found that mineral oil did a pretty good job, as well as some of those enviro-friendly cleaners, like 'Goop' and whatnot. HIH chris

What is you sign in astrology?

One of my favorite off-the-rack electrics. That, and the LP Junior, before they started putting P90's in them.

What is you sign in astrology?

I know this is all in fun but I couldn't resist dropping this: as an amateur astronomer I occasionally find it great fun to debunk the more serious astrologers - you know, the ones that actually believe this stuff. Here's a fact: for at least 10,000 years, there have been 13 constellations on...

What is you sign in astrology?

My guess - about 8.3% to each sign.

Who or What Inspired You to Dive?

Love of critters. (In the platonic sense, I mean.) As a tiny twerp in the 50's I was always feeding birds through the bedroom window and so forth. I can also remember my dad taking me to Whiteshell Park (the local lake district) and every time we drove past a lake I would wonder what was...

Herman, would you tell us what kind of BC you have? (This has indeed been a most interesting thread, Kidspot.)

    Cozumel Gloves/Knife

True, but archtypical short-term thinking. (On their part I mean, not yours.) :07: If the underwater environment is gone - can Coz really survive economically without divers?

    Cozumel Gloves/Knife

I'd miss a 6" or so knife for those moments when the rest of your group has stopped to look at something, you're on the outside in the current and your only way of slowing down is to push your knife into the sand. However, I certainly also have to concede that the park people are certainly...

    Cozumel Gloves/Knife

Right - so you can't take gloves, knives or sun cream - which all is arguably a good idea - but you can build multiple cruise ship piers? Stupid, stupid, stupid and more stupid not to mention hypocritical. Not a brain cell in their heads.

    Poll: I tried a BackPlate/Wing and...

My view as well. It was like my shoulders had been bungied together for ten years and suddenly one day, somebody cut the bungee. Never looked back. Never would have believed it either, if I hadn't tried it myself.

    Toast???

Alrighty, then... An elderly man takes his ailing elderly wife to the doctor for a check-up. After a couple of weeks, he phones back because he hasn't heard any results. The receptionist puts the doc on the phone, who explains that there's been a terrible mix up. He's got two sets of...

    spg placement

You will surely roast in the fires of Hades for this heresy. Or not. How is it a steamlining problem? I do it according to Hoyle and that seems to work extremely well for me; the HP hose travels more or less right along my left arm, making it very streamlined, and if I look down and slightly...

What dive sites not to miss and where to see the biggest sea-life?

One of my faves is Santa Rosa, which is on your list, but I might try to make sure I got at least one in to Cedral. I've seen some great critter action there at times.

    Ambergris Caye

Yes, I agree with Bill. I thought it was somewhat better-than-average Carribean diving, only rather deep. Not uncommon for the top of a wall to be at like 80 feet. Makes the dives a bit short but really nice anyway.
