When your boat is registerd and insured as a charter boat regardless of relationships you are responsible 24/7 for whomever rides in and dives off of it.

I've also heard all 3 on board were diving which included the charter operator this is a big no, no in running a charter these days. :no:

Humber Bay wreck.

I drove down by Humber Bay today to check out the water and get away from the congestion of the city for a few minutes and I noticed a large wreck on shore just east of the parking lot I hope who ever planted it there intends to sink it at the dive site. :balloons:

It just means you can't pile all your scuba gear on the dock and use it as a base station. You can swim around the dock go under the dock just don't jump off the dock. You can park your car on the side road outside the parking area just unload your gear at the beach. Its all big time BS. :dontknow:

Yet! another sign has been posted up at Big Bay point indicating there is to be no scuba diving from Government dock. Picture attached.

You need a boat guys with all this construction going on across the bottom of the city and people plotting them selves down in every little crevice along the water front for a picnic these days makes it hard to have any access anymore. You need to get offshore out into the lake to get any depth...

Howdy I was at Humber bay on Sat Morning the vis was crap maybe 5 feet at best. I did discover the new line wrapping all away around the base of the lower rock formation from the west side all away over to the east side ending up at a new divers plywood platform bolted to some kind of metal...

I have no idea why divers dive this site after certification its just a silt pit. The AKK gate keeper has been there for years with his neighbors and there never going to change so just find another dive site.
