I believe they are designed more for surfing then diving. The difference being the type of neoprene. I could be wrong though. that being said, I often use a 3/2 made by xcel which was designed for surfing and love it.

It it loaded sideways. And it's a bit of a mess picked it up at Loews for about $100. Holds everything for 2-3 divers except wetsuits which hang in a spare closet. Bcd, BP/W, 4-5 pairs of boots, 4 pairs of fins, 3 complete reg sets, 6 masks, 2 pelican cases, dive caddy, 3 mesh duffel type...

Come to Arizona. We have idiot laws in place. If you drive into a flooded wash, get stuck, and need to be rescued, well, you'll be paying for that.

I had a trip in Key West cancelled due to insufficient divers. What the op, and apparently a few others, did was call around to figure out who had a boat going out. We got our dives in and they actually turned out cheaper. So why not partner up with one or two other ops for these situations...

After I learned how groupon actually worked I stopped using them. We would occasionally find deals for restaurants we enjoyed, but knowing now how little the business gets, I'd rather pay full price to support a local entrepreneur.
