hey gabe picking up my camrea on wed.(best buy)since the one you got and the one im getting are so much alike was hoping for some advise on settings and what not if you dont mind.

by diving your tank i would hope you would mean being back on the boat or on shore with a min. of 500psi. actually on a shore dive I like to get people back to shore with atleast 750psi.

almost every shot i see from gabe and afew others with canons are great shots....i have never seen a "great" shot from a sealife.yeah i made up my mind think im just safer with the canon.

from a very good friend that owns a sealife dc1000. he said dont do it!!! get the canon! he hates his and wants to sell it and get a canon.says the quality of the shots is like the difference of night and day. guess im back to the canon g11.

might want to talk to david who worked with bill for a very long time at dive oahu. also kirsten might have some old pics of bill, as he was a very friendly guy.I dont think she hits the s.b that often so i will ask her and get back too you.

so i started all over again but this time i think i was a bit more unbiased and did some extensive research on sealife and well bottom line is im going to pass up the canon g11 and im getting to new sea life dc1200 Elite which comes with the external flash wide angle lens and the one year...

wouldnt you know it not long after i made up my mind sealife breaks out with the dc1200 and i got to say im liking the looks of it. the elite package is great strobe and wide angle lens included.
