I got a rental tank with a bad o-ring once, but having checked my gear previous to making my dive I made sure I had an o-ring assortment amongst my save-a-dive kit. Simple to do a field repair.
When I got back to the LDS I told them about it and with no questions asked they provided me...
How do you get in touch with coconut tree divers? I've sent email to info@coconuttreedivers.com about a week ago and about a month ago. No response.
I'm going to Roatan in slightly more than a month and would like to use them. I would be good to have something prearranged rather than just...
We'll I certainly started a lively discussion that has somewhat deviated from scuba and in part had deteriorated into the hurling of insults .
But... It has been educational. And fun.
A dove is a bird, indeed.
I notice that a lot of people nationwide have lockjaw when it comes to using the...
However, "I dove" (in the water) has become accepted, even though gramatically it's incorrect.
Thank you, my friend. That is exactly the sort of follow up I was looking for and your tip about "a dove is a bird" will help me remember to avoid that mistake in the future.
O.k. guys, we are divers. But we can't seem to correctly talk about the thing that we love to do -- Dive.
This phrase in a recent post grates on me: "they have not dove in three years"
You see similar stuff in posts all over the place here. Those posting with English as a second language...
If your mask is under your hood it means either your hood or your mask is on backwards. Either way it's very hard to see, epecially underwater. :D
I wear my mask STRAP under my hood. More secure, better seal.
That piece is a flash diffuser. Without it the housing and lens port would produce shadows by blocking some of the light from the flash. The diffuser reduces the shadows.
Ahhh! I'm beginning to smell a rat! And see the light. Or maybe see a rat and smell the light!
After I posted, I checked the leisurepro website and was surprised to see the direct USB cable.
You see, I made my original purchase through my LDS and specified that the cable needed to be USB...
After much time wasted, I'm ready to return the Suunto cable and adapter to the LDS and say to heck with it unless someone here can show me the solution.
I've used my Vyper for about a year now. No problems at all with the dive computer.
Finally sprung for the overpriced Suunto Cable to...

Believing that middle aged men an a whole lot of others should not go out in the general public with speedos....
I wear Speedo Shorts-the things with legs -under a wetsuit. They look like bike shorts. Before gearing up and after the dive is over, I wear some shorts or regular trunks over...
Hey Rick:
I see Brown and Red on the map legend and a Sand and Red color on the map. Does that mean the states in sand color are not supposed to have nutria? Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency says it's open season on nutria here, so I reckon they must be here too...... But I've never seen...
