Today, some current interfered with my plans to photograph the most beautiful nudi I've ever seen. 3 day dives and a shore dive from our back door. The other diver in our group found that his 3mm wasn't enough, and went for a 5mm with hood. I feel justified in my coldness!

The issue is that even one photograph at my normal web post resolution is too big. I am already going from 42 megapixels to 12 megapixels.

One of the perks of blackwater diving... Not sure I'm happy about paying $60 a dive for it because you could see absolutely nothing or you could see Nautilus and blanket octopus... I saw my first nautilus today! It went zoom zoom zoom. Not sure I'm into blackwater diving yet, because the photography is *difficult* but all the cool kids are doing it.

Today we saw a pair of ghost pipefish, leaf scorpion fish, hairy shrimp, leaf sheep, some new nudis... Site called coconuts. Sandy bottom with all kinds of goodies hidden in the sand.

Another day of diving, today I found a lovely peacock mantis shrimp and my dive guide found quite the assortment of lovely nudis. We visited the pygmy seahorses again for round 2 of photos. And we saw a big turtle! 70-80 minute dives with 1 hour surface interval. Water continues to be 26c.
