Go on to Denver. We have a great group of friends / divers from the Texas, New Mexico, Colorado area. We don't have the quantity of dive sites and you'll end up driving 6 hours one way to decent diving, but we have a lot of fun. :)

There are no governing bodies within recreational scuba diving. It boils down to quality and marketing to start one at this point in the game. It's definitely doable though. Unified Team Diving is only a couple years old and is going strong.

For singles, I dive a 6# steel backplate and a 40# oxycheq wing. If he's using a 3mm suit and diving in salt water then an AL80 or even an AL100 will be fine with that combination of suit and bp/w. That's the same combination of ALL my tropical saltwater trips. :)

The biggest lesson that I took away from the weekend is ALWAYS do a flow check to verify that your isolator and posts are in the position that you KNOW they should be. Otherwise bad things happen and you and your team mate may end up buddy breathing from a single working reg. Also, it's not...

Yep, my personal tolerance is anything colder than 60 degrees is dry glove territory. Beyond that, my fingers go numb and become unusable. It's kind of funny to watch a person trying to do stage bottle stows when they can't operate their thumbs.

I know for a fact that women with enhancements don't have a problem staying buoyant at the surface. ... It's a non issue. :) No, I don't have implants.... One of my dive buddies do.

I'll be there doing critical skills dives for Tech 1. :) We may be able to get in a night dive together... If not, a beer or few will do! :)... BTW, It'll be 24 - 25. :)
