I just looked at the specs 1 micron abrasive crystal and approved by USAF to clean aircraft canopies...seems like a solid set of specifications. 1 micron is pretty small cant see it leaving any visible scratches
interesting question they probably are but reading the material on idives website makes me unsure it says not compatible with some units not sure if those units dont use a transmitter or there is an older version of the trans
From what I have read there was a trade in program also it is more expensive to maintain them as the inspection requirements are different.

Its just listed as a general rule on the back of the RDP. That is the problem with general rules there is no context.
60 max is probably better for most people in a OOA emergency and 30 max has a safety margin built in for general diving.i would guess
Its interesting that the total is 8 minutes wonder if that is just a coincidence same total as padi RDP recommends. Ascent rate with padi is 60fpm vs the mares 40fpm

i dive a 2mm prefer to have my arms covered legs uncovered but i also use full foot fins
