Currently in Cozumel, Mexico. A great place to come train on it or drop...
I'd be suprised in a 150 minute dive (incredibly short for a dive that deep) if they get more than 5 minutes at 400ft or even an hour deeper than 60ft. Can shoot a DSMB from 60ft easily and that's about a normal recreational dive worth of a boat captain waiting around following bubbles.
Unfortunate! There's some really gorgeous spots in the depths here, they apparently didn't get a good drop. (or the OP knew to set them down where the rototilling would do minimal damage to the reef?)
The freshwater of the cenote outflows make for particularly pretty spots and otherwise it's...
Thankfully not me, but common to shoot a DSMB when starting deco makes it pretty easy on calm day. The bottom time is not much longer than a standard recreational dive that every boat captain follows every day. Once the DSMB is up the deco portion isn't hard to track with.
Otherwise, ascent in...

Sometimes in the masses the "m" is the only thing that is silent.
For standard rubber hoses I stick to industrial standard service life (couple decades with inspection). For miflex (which I don't dive) I understand it's suggested 5 years.
Shelf life for properly stored unused hoses doesn't concern me as it's likely measured in decades.

If you have some more specific...

Exiting at dusk on secluded shorelines and coming up in cenotes to moonlight unannounced it's a regular occurrence enough that I've considered an aptly placed freeflowing reg might be the appropriate way to announce my presence?
Had a billfish of some kind cruise past me in the blue water a...
Takes a fair amount of force to lift that much lead. ;)

When I am on the receiving end of a critique I try to get curious. Internally I start asking:
"What is it the person giving the critique is seeing?"
Followed by:
"What's been significant in forming what they are saying?"
Finally:
"What can I learn from this interaction?"
While 'even a...

Valuable domain if someone wants it, seems a waste to leave it unleveraged. Shoot me a PM, would trade for dive gear (or video lights). Cash wouldn't be bad either.
