Does anyone label their regs? We label the back of all of our regs when doing multi-stage dives with MOD. Long hose and bungee and all bottom mixes would get "BM" written on the back of the reg (just under the mouth piece...small piece of tape, JUST incase). All deco/travel regs would get the...
Then don't buy it. Different strokes for different folks. I spent some time researching what I wanted. I even stated on my original post on page one that it's expensive for what you're physically getting. The whole thing comes in a little 6"x10"x10" box (give or take). My buddy and I even...
I don't know any pioneers in the field, but a few weeks ago I ran across this couple that was diving with this nifty little 3D underwater camera. It had one of those special screens so you can see the pictures in 3D on the camera screen and after the dive they showed me a couple and I must...
So I've done two dives with the Razor and I love it. Now granted I'm new to sidemount so I have nothing to compare it too, but as minimalistic as it is....anything more would be just that....more. I'm in a 1.5mm wetsuit, Catalina 80s, 2KG weight, jetfins and my camera in a FIX housing (it's...
I got my Razor2 in the other day. Due to my distance and how long it would take to get here HP was able to ship me one out before the store officially opened. Initial impression of the kit is solid, well thought out and well put together (meaning quality parts). Is it a lot of money for what...
Of course there can always be something else until you get a new battery in there. However...mind lasted 98 dives, multiple firmware upgrades and log uploads (BT uses more power) prior to it warning me enough to where I changed the battery out. If I remember right it was advertised to last...
There is no bezel you can simply turn in the head. Look at the 6th picture on page 6. The 4 notches would require a tool in order to remove the bezel. The light also separates right below the on/off silver ring. Didn't notice that until today. Triple O-Rings there though.
Clearest image I was able to get. The underwater beam shots are just too close and the vis wasnt' very good today. Here you can see how little difference there is between the lights beams.

Unfortunately today's dive didn't happen. Got stuck at work late lastnight and had to get some sleep. Diving every day while working full time has it's price. Got off late again today (it's 2am here) but I'm getting up in a few hours to head out for a dive so I'll get the pictures in the...
Well as I stated a few times in the write up....the difference between the two as far as brightness goes is marginal. It's a 300 lumen difference between the lights....not exactly a day and night difference (well perhaps 0 and 300...but not 900 and 1200). Yes the camera was in full manual...
