Wish I had started diving at 50, that would have given me an extra 11 years. I dive on trips with my sons, daughter-in-law, and grandson. They love warm water but are rarely available for the local cold water dives. :D It is a great family activity.

I am flying down in two weeks to dive Key Largo. Hope to have some good weather, but you never know. We lost a trip to NC last fall and another last month due to tropical storms. Just bad luck.

Nice report and congrats on accomplishing the dives. The owner of my local dive shop was with you on your trip. Like you he planned for several years to make it happen. I saw a short video clip that one of your shipmates posted on facebook. It looked dark and cold.

Thanks for sharing the tips. I'll give them a try when I'm in Key Largo in a couple of weeks. We don't get to Bonaire until Sept. Wish I could go more often.

Why give it up for good? Lots of us older divers around. I am looking forward to many more years. You will love the freedom of the diving on Bonaire. Give us a trip report.
