Waterbanex: A copy of the user manual was sent to your email. However, from the description of the issue, I would tend to believe is a malfunction of the module (I've seen that very same issue happening in several computers similar to yours). After the count down (which is part of its self-check...
Vinx: Sorry to tell you that, according to my experience, all points to an LCD display malfunction. Since the display is an integral part of every dive computer internal module, this means, most likely, it will require a module replacement. I would advise starting to look for a new computer.
Pointy:
Please do not use a china made torx screwdriver to open your Zoop Novo. China makes the worst quality tools you can think of and you are risking permanently damaging the head of your screws, which you won't find out until your next battery change. Use good US made tools or, if you...
Buadhai: FYI we charge US$ 50 for the same service in Fort Lauderdale and that includes: a)new high-quality battery; b) new Oring and c) waterproofing you dive computer to 165 feet (test dive will appear as your last dive when you get your dive computer back).
Check the battery brand they installed in your D4. There are plenty of CR2450 Chinese batteries around that are very low quality (Eve is one of those brands I recollect and always stay away from). Demand swiss (Renata), German (Varta) or Japanese (Sony or Panasonic) batteries next time you send...
We also do change the battery to any oil filled Uwatec dive computer, except for the last series, the "Smart". These are the infrared interface models and we can not reset the battery indicator to 99% in these models. Check our website: www.divewatchdoctor.com
The D9 opening tool that Smartinterface sells is no good (see picture below). The "teeth" are very shallow and the tool loses its grip on the D9 ring as soon as you start applying some torque on it and you end up badly scratching the rear case. It surprised me, being a german tool. Instead, I...
Don´t know about the Atom transmitter, but Oceanic transmitters (for the Geo and OC1) both use a B016 O-ring. Easy to get since it´s an ASTM standard size.
I understand you have not taken your D6 to the water yet, so probably is just water vapor. I bet you the jeweler did not change the o-ring either, another reason for refraining from diving until you have it opened by a service center to see what's going on inside and remove the water vapor. Of...
