Not really. I would have assigned a percentage to the fish/coral category, I thoroughly enjoy watching them, but I'm too lazy to learn how to identify them. I just glide along and think, "Ooo, pretty" until it's time to surface and say, "Ooo, beer."

I dive to justify the time and expense I invested in gear and training in 1989. Ok, that was my smart a$$ answer. :) no offense. Actually I'm 100% social diver. Love the entire experience, including making new friends and seeing old friends again.

Not my first SB trip, but I get excited as if it were. Probably won't sleep much Friday night.

Gear inspected and packed. Electronics checked - batteries replaced/charged as needed. Documents in order, signed/initialed/copied, as needed. It's gonna be a long week.

Agreed. I am grateful beyond measure for the medication my friend and my son have available to them. If it will buy them one more day, one more week, one more month, one more year, it just may be the time needed to find a permanent cure.

Genetic mutation seems to be a major factor. I will not pretend to understand these things or how the medication works. All I know is that two people that are very close to me are surviving their cancer because of the one pill a day they take. A 30 day supply is about $15,000. That is not a typo.

Thanks, Roxanne. I'll just start with 6# and adjust from there. Have a new 2mm vest I want to try and wasn't sure about the weight. Based on my best guess, the vest with my hotskin will be about right with 6#.

Will a shore dive be available on Saturday for a checkout/buoyancy check? Last time I think the Eco review was kind of late in the day to include different flight arrivals.

ATL to BON in January has gone up $100+ PP since we booked some months ago. This may be our last trip to the Caribbean for diving. We can drive to Florida. Even if we spend ~$3,000 for a week in FL (with some dives) the total cost for a week will be about $2,000 less.

Haven't we all had that said about us at one time or another? Besides, these are the things his handlers take care of, not POTUS himself. When you say "We" I hope that is not intended to be all inclusive. I think he is course, prideful, and lacking in social skills. None of these are why...

Do we need sharks? Yes Should we monitor and protect, as needed, all species? Yes Is this one instance of a government official attending a State dinner in a foreign country worth getting our undies in a bunch? No

Relocate the assembled rig by grabbing the tank valve, nor your first stage. Support with alternate hand as needed/available. (that's my 2 cents)

Appreciate these reports. Even though I'm not local, I'm sure this information will be handy when I eventually get to do the Venice shore dive.
